Prince Rashid bin El Hassan
Prince Rashid bin El Hassan was born on May 20, 1979 in Amman, Jordan. His father is Prince Hassan bin Talal and his mother is Princess Sarvath El Hassan.
Education
Career
Prince Rashid was a Captain in the Jordanian Armed Forces and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Gendarmerie. Between 1995 and 1998, he undertook the following military courses:
- 1998 - Jordanian Special Forces Ranger Course (Sa'ika)
- 1998 - Jordanian Army Counter Infiltration & Urban Warfare Course
- 1998 - UK & Jordanian Armored Reconnaissance Troop Leaders Course

- 1997 - Jordan Special Forces Counter Terrorist Course
- 1997 - Jordan Armed Forces Commissioning Course
- 1996 - Jordanian Special Forces Unarmed Combat Course
- 1995 - Jordanian Army Paratroopers Wings (37 jumps)
- 1995 - Jordanian Coast guard Underwater Proficiency (SCUBA)
- 1995 - Jordanian Royal Guard Close Protection Course
Marriage
Prince Rashid became officially engaged to Miss Zeina Shaban (born 1988), on 3 July 2010. They married on 22 July 2011, at the Basman Palace in Amman. A table tennis champion, Princess Zeina represented Jordan at the World Championships in Paris in 2003 and the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and 2008.
